Entre deux moments… French for "between two moments" defines my photographic practice centred on the quiet interval between events. It is the instant when a city becomes unguarded: before a street fills, as a figure passes from view, or while light briefly moves across a surface. Rather than pursuing landmarks or spectacle, the work remains with a place long enough for these overlooked fragments to emerge. Each photograph preserves a moment that might otherwise disappear unnoticed, evidence of presence, passing time and the value of waiting.

Every print is made to order, so nothing sits in a box waiting. Here is what that means for when your print arrives, what it costs to send, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Making your print
Your print is made to order at a Canson-certified lab in Melbourne, then collected, inspected, signed and packed by hand. Allow 10 working days from payment to dispatch. If a particular order will take longer than that, I will tell you rather than leave you wondering.
Within Australia
Every print is sent tracked and must be signed for on delivery, so it is never left at the door. Shipping is added to the price of the print, by size:

Express Post is available on any size for $10 more. It moves the parcel faster once it is posted, but it does not shorten the 10 working days it takes to make and sign your print.
A3 and A2 prints travel flat in a rigid mailer. A1 and A0 travel rolled face-out in a wide tube: let the print relax flat for a day before you frame it.
Sending overseas
International shipping is added to the price of the print, by size:

Orders are sent delivered-at-place, which means any import duties, taxes or customs charges are payable by you when the print arrives.
A3 and A2 prints are not sold for delivery to the United Kingdom. A1 and A0 prints are. That is a consequence of the way UK tax works on lower-value parcels sent from overseas, and nothing to do with the work or the buyer.
If something is wrong
A print damaged in transit is replaced free. Tell me within 14 days of delivery, with photographs of the print and of the packaging it arrived in, and I will sort it out.
Because each print is made for you specifically, there are no change-of-mind returns once printing has started. Up until then you can cancel for a full refund, so tell me quickly if you change your mind.
Nothing here removes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The full detail is in Terms and Conditions.
Entre deux moments. is run by Campbell Jensen, trading as authored. (ABN 85 745 873 010), Melbourne, Australia. This page explains what information this site and its editions collect, and what happens to it.
What these sites collect
Almost nothing until you buy something. There are no accounts anywhere across Entre deux moments. or its editions, and no advertising cookies at all. Analytics run only if you accept the cookie notice, and only to count visits and see which editions get opened – never to build a profile of you.
Beyond that, the only information I get is what you choose to send. A print enquiry, a general enquiry and the Wallpaper Gift page each send what you type – your name and email address, your message or the moment and size you're asking about, and your city if you give it – through this site's own form service, provided by Netlify, to my inbox. Nothing is sent until you press the button.
If you join the collector list, or tick the box on the Wallpaper Gift page, I use your email address for two things: to tell you when a new edition opens, and to send you a welcome code for $20 off your next moment. The code is held by Stripe against your email address, so the checkout can recognise it. Reply to any of those emails with the word unsubscribe and you come off the list.
Paying for a print
Payment for a print is taken by Stripe, at the checkout on this site. Your card number is entered on a page hosted by Stripe, never on this site, and I never see it.
Stripe collects your name, email address, card details, billing address and the delivery address for your print. Stripe then passes me everything except the card number: your name and email, where the print is going, what you bought, what you paid, and the card's brand and last four digits – only what I need to match a payment to an order and refund it if something goes wrong.
Stripe handles your card details under its own privacy policy, at stripe.com/au/privacy. Stripe stores and processes information outside Australia, including in the United States and Ireland.
If you buy a gift card, the name and email address of the person it's for, your name and your message travel with the payment to Stripe as order details, and are used for one thing: to make the card and email it to them, with a copy to you. They aren't added to any list.
I keep order records for seven years, because Australian tax and record-keeping law requires it. That is longer than I keep anything else on this page.
Cookies
Two things, and only one of them if you decline. A small note in your browser remembers whether you accepted or declined the notice on Entre deux moments. – nothing is sent to me from that, and it isn't used to track you. If you accept, Google Analytics cookies are also set, which tell me how many people visit, which editions they open and roughly which country they're in. Google processes that data on my behalf with IP anonymisation switched on. Decline and none of those are set, and your choice is the only thing kept.
You can change your mind at any time: the Cookie settings link in the footer brings the notice back, and clearing this site's data in your browser does the same on your next visit.
Stripe's payment page sets cookies of its own while you're on it, which it needs to take a payment securely and to spot fraud. Those belong to Stripe and are set on Stripe's page, not this one, so the choice you make here doesn't change them.
What I do with it
I use a print enquiry to answer it: to confirm availability, take payment, make the print and send it to you. I keep the correspondence for as long as I need it to handle the order and meet Australian record-keeping rules, then delete it.
The mailing list is how I let you know when I release new work. Joining the collector list, or submitting the Wallpaper Gift page, is how you get on it; I add you from what's sent. The collector list hears about new editions two days before they go public. You can ask to come off the list at any time.
I don't sell, rent or trade your information, on the mailing list or otherwise.
Who else sees it
Only the people needed to complete an order: Stripe, which takes the payment; Netlify, which delivers the forms; my email provider; the printing lab, which gets only what to make; and the courier, who gets your name and delivery address and nothing else.
Hosting and logs
Like most websites, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested. These keep the sites running and secure. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Your choices
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email campbell@authored.com.au and I'll reply as soon as I can. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, tell me first, and then the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Buying a print
Open editions are for sale at the prices shown on each moment. Choose a size and where the print is going, and pay through Stripe at the checkout on this site. Your order is accepted – and the contract between us formed – when I send you an order confirmation by email, not at the moment Stripe takes the payment. If I can't fulfil an order, I'll tell you and refund it in full.
Closed editions are not for sale. They're shown as a record of work that has sold out, and enquiring about one is an enquiry rather than an order. Occasionally a loose print turns up in the studio; asking about one doesn't create a contract, and any sale is arranged separately in writing.
Prices, editions and availability
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Delivery is charged separately, at a flat rate by size, within Australia and internationally. The price shown when you order holds for that order even if the site changes afterwards.
Each open moment is offered in two tiers. The Print Edition (A3 and A2) is an open edition: each print signed in pencil, not numbered, with no fixed limit. The Collector Edition (A1 and A0) is limited to fifteen and five prints of each moment respectively, signed and numbered, with a certificate carrying the print number; its prices rise as each edition progresses, and once a size sells out no more are made at that size. Paper, specifications and availability can change for prints not yet ordered.
Prices remain on enquiry for anything not sold directly here: licensing, commissions, and loose prints from closed editions.
Gift cards
A gift card is sold at the value shown and delivered by email to the person you name, with a copy to you. It can be spent on any moment from the open editions, at any size, and covers the price of the print and its delivery. If an order comes to more than the balance, the difference is paid at the checkout; anything left stays on the card for another order. Gift cards can't be used for closed editions, licensing or commissions, are not redeemable for cash, and carry no fees of any kind.
Each card is valid for three years from the day it's bought, and the expiry date is on the card. The code works like cash: anyone who has it can use it, so keep it safe. If a card is lost, email me with the reference from your confirmation and I'll reissue it, provided the balance hasn't been spent. There are no change-of-mind refunds on gift cards. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
Promotion codes
A promotion code, including the welcome code sent when you join the list, comes off the price of the print on one order, up to the amount shown. It does not reduce the delivery charge, which is added as usual, and it can't be used together with a gift card on the same order. One code per order. Codes work on the open editions wherever the print is going, unless a particular code says it is limited to delivery within Australia.
A code is single use unless it says otherwise, and expires on the date given in the email that carried it. Codes are not redeemable for cash and carry no fees. I can withdraw an unused code if it has been shared or used in a way it wasn't meant for. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
Payment
Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never to me. I don't store card numbers and I couldn't if I wanted to – I only ever see the card's brand and last four digits.
Making and sending your print
Every print is made to order and dispatched within 10 working days of payment; I'll tell you if a particular order will take longer. Delivery is charged at a flat rate by size and added to the price of the print. Within Australia: A3 $20, A2 $25, A1 $35, A0 $35, tracked and signed for, with Express Post available on any size for $10 more. Internationally: A3 $45, A2 $60, A1 $80, A0 $95.
International orders are sent delivered-at-place: any import duties, taxes or customs charges are payable by you, the recipient, on arrival. A3 and A2 prints are not sold for delivery to the United Kingdom; A1 and A0 prints are.
Risk passes to you on delivery; if a print doesn't arrive, tell me and I'll chase the courier. Because each print is made individually, you can cancel for a full refund up until printing starts, and not after – email me as soon as you can if you've changed your mind.
If something is wrong
Nothing here removes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and those rights can't be excluded. If a print arrives damaged, isn't as described, or is faulty, you're entitled to a replacement or a refund. Tell me within 14 days of delivery, with photographs of the print and the packaging it came in, and I'll sort it out. Where the fault is mine, I cover return postage.
There's no right to send back a made-to-order print simply because you've changed your mind once it's printed. Australian law doesn't give a cooling-off period for online purchases, and each print is made for you specifically.
Copyright in the photographs
I own the copyright in every photograph across Entre deux moments. and its editions. Buying a print buys the print. It doesn't transfer copyright, and it doesn't give you any right to reproduce, publish, broadcast, adapt or make money from the image.
You may not copy, download, scrape, reproduce or republish any image from these sites, including to train machine learning or generative AI systems, without my written permission. The same goes for the text, design and code.
The Wallpaper Gift page offers a free image from your chosen edition as a wallpaper. It's still my photograph, and the copyright terms above still apply: it's for your own devices only, not for reposting, reselling, or any public or commercial use, and the credit mark that's on it should stay on it.
Your use of these sites
Use them lawfully. Don't interfere with them, don't try to get unauthorised access, and don't use automated tools to harvest what's on them.
Liability
I take care to keep these sites accurate and available, but I can't guarantee they will be uninterrupted or free of errors. As far as the law allows, and apart from liability that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, I'm not liable for loss arising from your use of them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
A few things worth knowing before you order a print.
Colour and tone
Screens vary a lot in brightness, contrast and colour, and no screen matches ink on paper. A print will look different from the image on the page, usually with more depth in the shadows and a warmer, quieter surface. This matters most in the editions made in low light. If exact colour matters, ask me for a small test print before you order a large one.
Sizes
Print sizes are nominal and describe the paper, not the image area. Prints come with a white border unless we agree otherwise, and the actual size can vary by a few millimetres through trimming.
Framing and display
Prints come unframed and unmounted unless your order says otherwise. Pigment prints are durable but not indestructible. Keep them out of direct sunlight, away from damp, and handle them by the borders or with clean gloves. I'm not responsible for damage or fading caused by framing, mounting or display after delivery.
Availability
Editions and individual photographs can be withdrawn, and print runs and specifications can change. Nothing here guarantees a particular print will stay available. Editions marked closed are sold out.
Site content
Information here is given in good faith and believed accurate when published. Capture details come from the camera's own metadata. I can't guarantee everything is complete, current or free of errors.
People and places in the photographs
Some of this work is documentary, made in public places and published as photographic art. Other editions were made with people who took part willingly and have given their written permission for their pictures to be shown and sold. Either way, nobody appearing in a photograph endorses these sites, the prints, or anything sold through them.

Entre deux moments. is the selection of photographs I made in the places that hold my attention, the places I love, or the places I have just arrived at, the photographs reflecting my view of the moments happening in front of me. I’ve learnt to feel a city through its people, not only through its architecture, so that is where I first point the camera and then I watch for the moments to take place and capture them.

Any moment, any size, delivery included
Give a print and leave the choice to them. A gift card covers any moment from the open editions, at any size, with delivery included. It goes to them by email as a card to keep, with your message, and anything left after one order stays on the card for another. Valid for three years.
A confirmation with a copy of the card is on its way to you by email. If you chose a send date, the card goes to them on that morning, Melbourne time; otherwise it has already been sent.
